Thank Disney it’s Friday – July 20!

Well hello Friday!!

After my great find in that second-hand bookshop earlier this week I feel like having some nostalgic fun today….

Here’s your Friday question….

Which do you prefer…..Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress or Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room? And of course…why???

I must confess I haven’t visited either of these attractions in a very long time; something which I aim to change in October!!!

Don’t forget to watch out for next week’s posts celebrating the first birthday of Daydreaming Disney, including an extra special Thank Disney it’s Friday!!!!!

:) :) :)

  1. Carousel of Progress. When my family lived in Florida (I was just a kid), we would frequently have friends and family visit us from chilly New York State. Of course, we would take our guests to Disney! During one visit, my mom’s best friend Peggy developed quite a crush on John, the Carousel of Progress animatronic host. Peggy is no longer with us, but we think of her every time we ride John’s carousel. It brings back such happy memories!

  2. Carousel of Progress did offer us a lovely quiet place to relax and warm up one particularly cold January evening!

  3. Carousel of Progress, as well as really enjoying the attraction it’s also an excellent place for a power nap when spending 15 or so hours in the Magic Kingdom :)

  4. I’ll try to keep this short… a coworker who loves Disney was astounded we didn’t always stop to see CoP. We were down with her about 5 years ago and she made sure we stopped! It happened to be our last ride before going home. My niece and nephew to this day make us visit CoP for our last ride on our last day each trip… “It’s tradition” they say! CoP will always have a special place in my <3 for fostering new traditions with friends and family. *o*
