It’s been a short working week for us here in the UK but I’m still glad it’s Friday….there’s always more daydreaming time at the weekend
With the rain coming down and the wind howling today I wish I was spending a sunny and relaxing day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom….so here’s your Friday question….
Expedition Everest or Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition….which do you prefer and why???

ooh tough one!! both so different. I think I have to go for EE – it’s a very clever ride with amazing imaginearing and a huge adrenaline rush!
Glad it got you thinking
For me, the safari is something I do first. See the animals early and active. However, I do Everest for the thrill. I guess I’ll say… Everest… for now
Like the way you expect your answer to change
My kids have different tastes in rides. So, I get to do the Safari with my mild rider, then Everest with my wild rider!
That’s an awesome solution!!
Love Expedition Everest but I’m going to pick Kilimanjaro Safari as I love the different experience everytime and the excitement when something a bit different happens like when we where stopped by a Giraffe in the road which then put it’s head into the truck lol or trying to get a good photo of the elusive Cheetah’s or a good pic of the Lion, I also like the ‘live’ cast member interaction like the Jungle Cruise where a different cast member can also contribute to a different experience.
I could not have explained it any better Tim, totally agree with your reasoning
Expedition Everett! Both are fun, but I was just so amazed by the detail in expedition Everett that it’s my fave ride in the whole park!!
Kim – KS as she doesn’t do coasters and is disappointed by the Yeti’s sparing appearances!
Michelle – EE as the theming is excellent and definitely a thrilling ride. I like the safari however I seem to always end up mid truck and with camera shy animals!
I actually rode EE once, and while I enjoyed it, I prefer safari. It is always a different adventure due to seeing different animals on each ride. I’m also glad they are changing the story away from ‘poachers’ and building a new watering hole. This one is always a must when we are there!
Safari for me as I get to see the giraffes! (plus I’ve never been brave enough to ride Everest!! – Maybe I’ll overcome that on my next visit…)
